Atlas Community Services is about lowering and (or) eliminating the chance that an individual in the community will die of a preventable or self-infected causes.   We have been aggressive in obtaining the goals by building strong coalitions and including diverse partners, to create Health Environments, reduce youth access to harmful products and increasing the utilization of informational and advertising resources to addressing disparities among the communities.  We consider our tasks to require a different plan of action.  Our in your face, program research has worked with Schools and Universities, Greek and youth organization, after school programs, and Churches.   This will give us a target group of children and young adults that must be reached in order to lower the percentages of young minority preventable illness and deaths.
